We’re pulling out all the stops to make this our biggest summit ever. The goal? Building the connections necessary to create good paying jobs here in Montana.
Be warned: this is not a simple trade show. We’re rolling up our sleeves, brainstorming and coming up with some fresh and concrete ideas for boosting our state’s economy. In order to make the most of our time together, I want to remind everybody of three ground rules:
Nothing Is Off The Table: I want to encourage everyone to think outside the box, and don’t worry if an idea seems too big, or impractical. Only by thinking big, can we succeed big.
No Politics: Nothing of consequence ever comes without working together, and if we can’t work together then we won’t achieve the goals we have set out. I don’t want politics to get in the way of good ideas.
Solutions should be driven by the private sector: Businesses across Big Sky Country are on the cutting edge of innovation. From alternative energy, to the medical industry, to ground-breaking technologies, great things are happening in the Treasure State. There is a role for the public sector in creating incentives, investing in education and supporting infrastructure, but the best ideas come from our economy’s greatest asset, the American entrepreneur.
These jobs summits have a track record of delivering good-paying jobs. The key to success has always been your involvement.

All the best,
